Larry joined the WVHL team in August 2003 and he is looking forward to meeting the challenges ahead, in serving his
advertising clients with radio opportunities to promote their business. "I may have been new to 'Radio Advertising'
but I am not new to sales, as I operated my own business (Armes TV Appliance, Inc.) in Crewe Va, for over 17 years".
Larry has found out from experience that what's required is not 'Selling' but "Helping" people to solve problems in
achieving their goals. "That's the commitment that I bring to WVHL and our clients". Larry is a proud family man,
married to his wife Marsha for 25 years with sons George, Jason, and Josh, 2 Grandchildren Zachary and Jeremy, and not
forgetting his pet Dachshund 'Hattie'. He also enjoys Camping, NASCAR Races and Surf Fishing in Hatteras.
Sports Director & Host of "Richard's Round-Up"
Richard who is a native of Farmville is living out his dream of broadcasting local sporting events on 92.9 FM Kickin' Country.
Sports is a passion in Richard's life. He hosts a sports show "Richard's Round-Up" every weekday at 8:20 A.M. He also broadcasts
local football, basketball, and baseball games. Also, in 2005 Richard started hosting "Rowdy Times" from 6:00 P.M. to midnight.
On top of all of this, Richard is currently employed full-time in the advertising department at The Farmville Herald.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his three children - Richie, Lindsay, and Lance.
Production Manager & On-Air Personality
Mickey has lived in the Nottoway Country area all his life. Growing up loving music, he plays guitar, drums, and keyboards
and plays in a Ween cover band for fun on the side. He had worked for Larry Armes for 12 years before starting his own business
in Crewe running a recording studio (Mix Music) for 5 years. His hobbies include horticulture, listening to and playing music
with his friends. You can hear his handiwork on all the commercials and during the football, basketball, and baseball games
running the board.
Office Manager & On-Air Personality
Originally from Red House Peggy moved to Prospect in 2009, she is married to a loving husband Matt, with three wonderful
children Alexis, Christian and Devon. She also has two very spoiled dogs.
Account Advisor & On-Air Personality
Originally from Massachusetts, Travis is a 2011 graduate of Bridgewater State University, where he discovered his love for
radio during his freshman year. He spent four years hosting a variety of shows as well as serving as both underwriting director
and program director of his college station, 91.5 FM WBIM. During his senior year, he interned at Greater Media Boston station,
105.7 FM WROR, and was later hired to work on their street team. While at Greater Media Boston, he also hosted a Saturday show
on RadioYou Boston 92.9 HD2. Prior to relocating to Farmville, Travis had been working at WPKZ AM 1280 and 105.3 FM in Fitchburg,
MA where he co-hosted the morning show and worked in sales part time. During his spare time, Travis enjoys swing dancing with his
fiancée, Ashley, listening to music, and becoming more familiar with the area.

Kyla Marie, AKA Miss Kiki, is a native of the home to the Rocky
Mountains, Denver Colorado, but calls her 2nd home Keysville VA

Bobby is the newest member of the team at WVHL.
He is a native of Farmville and a graduate of Hampden Sydney College
After graduation Bobby joined the family auto parts business where
he worked in many capacities from sales to manager and owner.
In 2014 Bobby sold the business and joined the team at WVHL in 2016.
Bobby enjoys advertising sales, especially helping others promote
and grow their business
